Having that button on your site is good because people coming to your site and add you to their bookmarking list but if they are not a member of that site, they will not add you.

In addition, you can also add your blogs RSS feed. You will want to create an RSS feed if you don't have one already. RSS feed allows people to be instantly notified of new posts so make sure to use them.
